On Thursday, September 24th and Friday, September 25th, Burns & McDonnell held a training class to educate and certify Sustainable Design Solutions (SDS) employees on one of NASSCO’s premier training programs – the Pipeline Assessment Certification Program (PACP™). The education also includes the Manhole Assessment Certification Program (MACP™) and the Lateral Assessment Certification Program (LACP™). This two-day course gives practitioners the knowledge and tools to provide utility investigation following the national standard.
Burns & McDonnell is one of SDS’s teaming partners on the Clean Water Shreveport Program. These certifications will assist SDS in its work on this multi-year program, which helps protect our community’s environment and improve the City’s water and sewer infrastructure.
As seen on the NASSCO website, the “Pipeline Assessment Certification Program is the North American Standard for pipeline defect identification and assessment, providing standardization and consistency to the methods in which pipeline conditions are identified, evaluated, and managed.”
