Sustainable Design Solutions, LLC, is pleased to introduce you to the latest addition to our team – our Shreveport office’s new Project Manager, David Judice, P.E. David brings a wealth of experience to our firm, and his role at Sustainable is instrumental in project delivery and project management.
David grew up in New Iberia, Louisiana, and graduated from the University of Louisiana Lafayette in 1989 with a degree in Civil Engineering. It’s no surprise he’s a proud “Ragin’ Cajun.”
David’s engineering expertise spans over 34 years in both the private and public sectors. He worked as a consultant for 16 years and served 17 years for the Texas Department of Transportation.
After working out-of-state for the first leg of his career, David proudly returns to his Louisiana roots with a goal of contributing to water and sewer infrastructure projects, such as those within the Clean Water Shreveport Program. He joined the Sustainable team in Summer 2023 and has recently obtained his Louisiana Professional Engineering License. He is also licensed in Texas.
“Everybody is working toward a common goal here at Sustainable, and you just don’t see that kind of camaraderie everyday,” David shares.
Currently, David is collaborating directly with our team on reviewing lift station design plans and developing standard operating procedures. His unique background in transportation and chemical sales also adds tremendous value to our firm, whether his projects focus on rebuilding roads and bridges or troubleshooting infrastructure challenges.
David’s overarching goal is simple yet powerful: to make a difference, contribute, and be a part of a team that’s always willing to learn.
“The work culture that exists within Sustainable is awesome,” says David. “You look forward to going to work in the morning because of the environment Kodi has created here.”
Outside the office, David enjoys life on his family’s 100-acre farm in Gary, Texas, where he spends time with his wife and son – helping out on the farm, hunting, fishing, and watching sports.
Welcome to the Sustainable team, David!
