Sustainable Design Solutions, LLC is pleased to announce its recent hire, Brian Suberbielle, P.E, Project Engineer.
A Louisiana native, originally from New Iberia, Brian has called Baton Rouge home for 30 years. He is working out of Sustainable’s Baton Rouge office supporting clients across the State of Louisiana.
Previously a Project Manager for natural gas systems, Brian comes to Sustainable with engineering experience primarily in utility systems – skills ranging from designing, project management, bidding services, and construction administration. He also has experience in structural design and regulatory work with the Louisiana Department of Health.
Brian is excited to be a part of a growing engineering firm that will allow him to pull from all of his experience with utilities, water, and natural gas.
“I’m especially looking forward to getting back to my roots with the water and wastewater field, where my passion for engineering originally started,” said Brian.
Brian is also excited to work on projects such as the University Lakes project and MOVEBR projects that impact the local community. He enjoys volunteering for grassroots improvement projects, is involved in the Capital Heights Neighborhood Association, and is a 13-year member of the Varsity Sports running group. Brian is excited about Baton Rouge’s investment in complete streets and also the opportunity to work with Sustainable’s founder, Kodi Guillory.
“Kodi is a rising star with an excellent road ahead of her. I think this is
great opportunity to get in with Sustainable at the early stages.”
Brian and his wife, Gail Suberbielle, the Dean of Liberal Arts at Baton Rouge Community College, are avid runners, endurance seekers, and love to travel anywhere that has a beach.
Welcome to the team Brian, we are excited to have you on board!
